It may be a golden binary! I have tried the latest any-any patch, version 96, and it just paniced my system, and the resulting MD5 did not match what you had. (Page fault in kernel mode during process vmware) I have confirmed that the vmware any-any patches is really that, it has all sorts of checks in it for what binary you have.
