I have been having a spate of problems getting ports to build: 
something is afoot with libtool13 not allowing .so files to build. I 
can usually work around this by doing a pkg_deinstall on libtool13 and 
then making the wanted port.

No such luck this time. The acid test is to build a package, since the 
package process does a more rigorous job of checking the packing list 
than "make install" seems to.

As you can see, I'm short a few .so files. And for some reason 
libtool13 is being built as part of this, but it looks like ltmain is 
calling for libtool15.
