Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-questions@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk this is a pretty dumb newbie question, but here goes: I wanted to get LyX set up, so I downloaded the latest version of libXpm from an ftp site. Now, how do I install the file? (easily) I tried the ftp installation, but it kept complaining about not being able to find indexes, etc. (I have the 2.1.5 cds). What is the easiest way for me to add this package? (xpm-3.4i.tgz) thanks! -- =---------=----------------------------------------=---------= | ((___)) | "You can tune a file system, but you | ((___)) | | [ x x ] | can't tune a fish." -tunefs man page | [ x x ] | | \ / =----------------------------------------= \ / | | (' ') | John Szumowski - harpo@javanet.com | (' ') | | (U) =----------------------------------------= (U) | =---------= =---------=
