There's two kinds, intelligent and dumb. Dumb, yes, intelligent, I think pretty soon, I think it's being worked on, but not yet. Just in case, I have got a Cyclades 16Y (c1400 board, 16 ports) almost up with a port of NetBSD driver (very few changes).
