There are now 5 PRs in the database that deal with upgrades to squid for various problems (21756, 21761, 20730, 22637 and this one). All of them (except 22637) can be closed if this last one (23264) is commited. I am sure that peter is really busy with other more important things and does not have the time to look over these trivial changes. Maybe he should release the maintainership so that the port can be updated in a timely manner. It is getting annoying to patch the squid port manually to stay up to date. This is not intended as criticism against Peter since I am sure that he has more important things to do. It's just that the patches that are required for squid should probably not be gated for so long, especially when they are so trivial. Patrick.
