I am not sure what you mean by dismantle then? All the drives in the pool are 512k now. The original pool was created with just 512k drives too (long ago). There are no 4096k drives part of it any more. The one that was 4096k (ada0) has been removed. # jot 15 0 | awk '{print " camcontrol identify ada"$1" | grep \"sector.*physical\""}' | sh sector size logical 512, physical 4096, offset 0 sector size logical 512, physical 512, offset 0 sector size logical 512, physical 512, offset 0 sector size logical 512, physical 512, offset 0 sector size logical 512, physical 512, offset 0 sector size logical 512, physical 512, offset 0 sector size logical 512, physical 512, offset 0 sector size logical 512, physical 512, offset 0 sector size logical 512, physical 512, offset 0 sector size logical 512, physical 512, offset 0 sector size logical 512, physical 512, offset 0 sector size logical 512, physical 512, offset 0 sector size logical 512, physical 512, offset 0 sector size logical 512, physical 512, offset 0 sector size logical 512, physical 512, offset 0 # zpool status | grep ada0 # ---Mike -- ------------------- Mike Tancsa, tel +1 519 651 3400 Sentex Communications, mike@sentex.net Providing Internet services since 1994 www.sentex.net Cambridge, Ontario Canada http://www.tancsa.com/
