The only machines that are not happy is/are the FreeBSD systems. When you telnet to the you get "connected" and it takes almost 7 minutes to get a logon prompt. This is happening on Alpha 4.0 and the intel systems. I used to be using a Linux NIS server now I am using Tru64 UNIX 5.0 running on a quad ES40. Any suggestiions? I have the correct entries in /etc/rc.config /.....(I believe). -----Mike Michael Waite Global Partnering Solutions Services Compaq Computer Corporation 200 Forest Street MRO1-3 /E4 Marlboro, Ma 01752 508-467-2289 michael.waite@compaq.com email pager: 6350361@skytel.com skytel pager 1-888-635-0361 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-alpha" in the body of the message
