Btw. please note the difference between cvs and cvsup. cvs is the
program / system which maintains the source trees (inc. ports) and cvsup
is "only" a program to mirror among other things cvs repositories.

If you add cvs-all to your cvsup file I think you get everything so you
should also get ports. Where it will put the files is another matter.
But if you want to experiment just rename /usr/ports and test. If
something fails you can just use your old version again.

You could also consider having your own cvsup mirror
(ports/net/cvsup-mirror).  That can be an be useful some times, but of
course uses a lot of extra diskspace and bandwidth.
