Hello, Cannot get syslog to write to file /var/log/ftp.log Have run syslog in debug mode, it registers an ftp session, but does not write it to log file.Also tested using 'logger -t ftpd "someones using Ftp" .Here's part of debug output Also have done touch ftp.log ......... FILE: /var/log/ppp.log ......... UNUSED: (telnetd) ......... UNUSED: (ftpd) What causes UNUSED how do i get FILE: /var/log/ftp.log ?
