Hello: I have written several fast ethernet PCI drivers for FreeBSD recently and have just started work on a driver for this chip (and the 3043 Rhine I, which I gather is register-compatible with the Rhine II). I only managed to get a sample NIC today, however I don't think it will take me too long to finish what I have. That said, if your driver is ready now, I wouldn't mind using it and saving myself some work. You can send the source code to wpaul@skynet.ctr.columbia.edu or wpaul@freebsd.org. I'll look it over and get back to you ASAP. -Bill -- ============================================================================= -Bill Paul (212) 854-6020 | System Manager, Master of Unix-Fu Work: wpaul@ctr.columbia.edu | Center for Telecommunications Research Home: wpaul@skynet.ctr.columbia.edu | Columbia University, New York City ============================================================================= "It is not I who am crazy; it is I who am mad!" - Ren Hoek, "Space Madness" ============================================================================= To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
