Hi,

I have a P166 with a 2Gb HD, partitioned as follows:
DOS 400Mb
FreeBSD 700Mb
WinNT 900Mb

I partitioned the BSD slice, and mounted the drives /, SWAP, /var,
/usr, as recommended in the installation. However, after selecting the
Boot Manager, and attempting to complete the installation, it
complains that the partition has been declared read-only! I am
installing from an MS-DOS partition (C:\FREEBSD), and have FREEBSD\BIN
and FREEBSD\FLOPPIES in there.

Does anyone have a possible solution?

Thanks,
Sanjeev Athalye.
