--Sig_/0+1ThOU_mSndwOA7yLisgBp Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I just switched from using 'portsnap' to 'git'. I removed everything in the directory, then used 'git' to build it. That worked fine. I had to manually recreate the 'distfiles' directory, but I expected to have to do that. Now, if I run a 'make search' in the directory, I receive an error message that it needs the INDEX file. I ran "make index" and that seems to work alright. My question is, is that the best way to handle this? Couldn't 'git' download the INDEX file, too. I assume that 'portsnap' was doing something like that. --=20 Jerry --Sig_/0+1ThOU_mSndwOA7yLisgBp Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQGzBAEBCAAdFiEELeCiu2K+9VmEYYgTgHBP8gv9FXcFAmB3Q4QACgkQgHBP8gv9 FXcMdwwAjoRmi25lAEev4ZpAkHhYK3fdwjy7oGJtskdeLOYOZxZeHBWnS1WkCExA 6dRil/8KudZryUaHmZfNPwFpFRCGFhjSqUlqR6Zn5gc/KB3SSiM6Mta4jwvv6/pW lFT3XtkhIcH4PziomMBTO23UcMmNtOi9q+flsGOtF7lcwRQB1gqwY9IZUt9aGkl8 DRgDpHDsZoSio5PFEi/70DO8EihLK7enfpIjzuakzspTdV4qeFeJ8GKVQyMKBKR6 bXBLt6y+4uHKCfmRW4w3u4QVVUEPD1g5zw5HcT2r4wCB2RqCWdqF1+Y3B+4XRIu2 GlGQTccCa12XycjRw5jVNfur3BB8PBkXM+m2FCxuXxwjju2RA9bD3wRk0WhLAUwZ WTqlOzjlnDviUnf4RqOebJMtpwgZyivSwb4vNm4BQiW2YGb6zjPqE3qpTZqa4F2C 3acMNjPAa36aqDN8uMrlbE8atVz6lHWNbk2D85GicslIRM5pfOEdp29YggHoHpUL 0Jon7tDK =7vkm -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Sig_/0+1ThOU_mSndwOA7yLisgBp--
