Hi, I am porting a new piece of software, and it contains 'public domain DES software'. Now I think it's OK for me to export/import it, and it doesn't violate patent or trade agreements, but I'm not sure.. (The software is called VNC, and its home page is http://www.orl.co.uk/vnc/) It also contains code from XFree86, and the origional code is GPL'd. Basically its a client/server which allows you to use a computer remotely (like X but smaller :), it has clients for X11, Win32, and Java, and servers for X11 and Win32. --------------------------------------------------------------------- |Daniel O'Connor software and network engineer for Genesis Software | |http://www.gsoft.com.au | |The nice thing about standards is that there are so many of them to| |choose from. -- Andrew Tanenbaum | --------------------------------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
