In-Reply-To: Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I am using FreeBSD 3.4. I had a look at "man vnconfig" before but was worried because there was no mention of ramdrive size ( I need an 8MB ramdrive ). Do you think I need to use "dd" to create a file ( 8 x 1024k blocks ) and then use "vnconfig" to move it into ram and mount it ??? Thanks for your help, Brendan... -------------------------------- On Sat, 7 Apr 2001, David Scheidt wrote: > On Sat, 7 Apr 2001, Brendan Kosowski wrote: > > : > :How do I create an 8MB ram drive and mount it at /mnt ??? > > What version of FreeBSD?
