If that doesn't work, try a portupgrade -Rf gweled. libtool-1.5 rebuilt - check. Didn't fix the problem. "portupgrade -Rf" did. It didn't run to completion (had problems with gamin inter alia) but what did get rebuilt put gweled back on track. Thanks all around, Robert Huff
