There is no more logging into /var/log/messages anymore. I have no clue why. Things i checked: * no full filesystems * no rotating problems (rotating is done via newsyslog.conf) * syslogd is up en running (did restart it, even rebooted the server) * not missing any binaries * other logfiles work normally * no permission problems These are the things i checked, but i am running out of options here.
