Hi:

Sorry - I'm new on the list. I've just bought a Canon MVX 250i (European
model number) so I thought I should subscribe.

I have managed to make fwcontrol cause a page fault and kernel dump
issuing the command

# fwcontrol -r

while the camera is playing. Camera is not affected at all. OK, my fault
I should have known that doing this could likely have some fatal
outcome, yet - a nicer error handling would be appropriate.

I'm on the most resent RELEASE:

FreeBSD charm 6.1-PRERELEASE FreeBSD 6.1-PRERELEASE #0: Wed Feb 22
01:04:20 CET 2006 root@charm:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC6 i386

The only difference from the GENERIC kernel is that I have disabled fwe.

Best regards, Erik
