FreeBSD's "nv" driver will = give you everything you=20 normally need to run FreeBSD and almost all=20 associated applications. However, this driver does=20 not have 3D graphics support, so if you are wanting=20 to use an application for 3D graphics design, VRML,=20 or something like that, you won't be able to use=20 the nVidia card. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ [Adam] you will be able to mount your NTFS partition, but you will not be able to write to it. thanks to microsoft on that one ::) _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ [Jud] There are workarounds for this. A very simple one involves putting a FAT or FAT32 partition somewhere on your hard drive(s). Then both FreeBSD and NTFS will have read and write access to it. I imagine various networking options could also be used, but I'm not familiar with these.
