Based on this and other messages to the OS-specific KDE packagers (like us), there will be updated ports and binary packages for kdelibs and kdenetwork. If I have time, I will update the binary packages for the i18n ports that had the wrong categories. Please note: due to a bug in the latest libxml2, packages are built against the previous (*.25) version instead. We hope they fix the problem and upgrade their libraries soon, but for now, this is all that we can do. ----- Forwarded message ----- > > > You should at least provide updates for kdenetwork (remote root exploit) > > > and kdelibs (remote command execution). > > And the binaries should be ready when ? Well the security advisory will come out Monday, I think 17:00 GMT. Would be great to have the binaries ready then, but there are also interim fixes until binaries are ready (removing some files and disabling some services). ----- End forwarded message ----- I will provide any further relevant information as it becomes available. -- Alan Eldridge Unix/C(++) IT Pro for 20 yrs, seeking new employment.
