I am, as noted in the subject, running 2.1.5 on a PPro with the 440FX chipset and 32 megs of RAM. Twice in the last few days, my system has locked up to the point where I had to press the reset button. Both times it has happened when I switched vtys. I just recently compiled support for and created more vtys, going from 4 to 16. Might that have something to do with it? After reading that bounce buffers were for ISA SCSI host adapters, I disabled them, as my SCSI card is PCI. This would mean that the vty-switching thing is a red herring, I guess. Any ideas? TIA. Ben
