I agree with Mike wholeheartedly!! You guys that are too obstinate to get
with the program are going straight to /dev/null on my system!

I mostly lurk this list to learn as much as possible. An interesting
thread begins -- everything is going along smoothly, i.e.,
question, reply, another question, reply -- one after the other so that
aperson can follow the sequence of events (and screw-ups), then some
freaking yahoo top-posts, and the subsequent comments/replies are
bottom-posted. THEN we have one hell of a mess!! What the hell is so hard
to understand about THAT!

Look... as far as I'm concerned, it's not that top-posting is inherently
a "bad thing". The problem occurs when a thread has a combo of top AND
bottom posting. Have it *all* top-post or bottom-post -- I don't give a
shit; but let's not mix the two! Let's agree on a standard and stick to
it. You contrary sons-of-bitches who exist only to make life
miserable/hard on others and consistently insist in going against the
grain --- guru or not, you'll be in my bit bucket as quick as I can hit
the <Del> key.

Mike, I've had a "postponed" message on my system for a month or so,
wondering whether or not I should *again* broach the issue. Glad you
spoke up! Bottom line though -- how are we going to resolve this? Is
having a vote feasible?
