Keep in mind that I'm a newbie with FreeBSD. If I recompiled the kernel with my luck I'd probably screw it up. Value drivers creative live! is supported...it's just sound is not compiled in the generic kernel. recompile your kernel and put device pcm or kldload the sound module.
