Thanks. Good to know, the problem is being reacted to :-). Do you
know, if the "new" libc has the getres[ug]id functions as well?

I got it working for now, but will do the "official" route next time.

I now have to investigate, why the HylaFax stopped working, claiming:
"FIFO: device not configured". The modem is certainly still there, and
the sio number remained the same...
