Under -current built from Oct 22 soucrces, and cdd built today, ripping CD-AUDIO tracks just produces output files which are just a loud hiss. I've tried this with both of my CD-ROM drives to no avail, and it used to work for both of them under -current several months ago. wcd0: drive speed 5512KB/sec, 256KB cache wcd0: supported read types: CD-R, CD-RW, CD-DA wcd0: Audio: play, 255 volume levels wcd0: Mechanism: ejectable tray wcd0: Medium: no/blank disc inside, unlocked wcd1: drive speed 344 - 1034KB/sec, 768KB cache wcd1: supported read types: CD-R, CD-RW, CD-DA, packet track wcd1: supported write types: CD-R, CD-RW, test write wcd1: Audio: play, 128 volume levels wcd1: Mechanism: ejectable tray wcd1: Medium: no/blank disc inside, unlocked, lock protected Anyone have some insight on this? I think I remember seeing a thread along these lines some time ago, but didn't take notice at the time and can't find it in the list archives. -- Brian Buchanan brian@CSUA.Berkeley.EDU -------------------------------------------------------------------------- FreeBSD - The Power to Serve! http://www.freebsd.org To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hackers" in the body of the message
