On a global scale or just this list?  Quite a lot is done by many people
in both situations.

Globally - report it and eventually it'll lose it's appeal.

This list - a lot is already stopped, and some people complain they
can't always send mail because the spam measures are too strict, but it
catches the vast majority of the spam without stopping most people
posting.

If you just don't want to see it in your inbox look up some of the
numerous spam catching tools and install those.  If you want
recommendations then many of us have our favourites and after a brief
holy war you may get a rough idea of what's out there.
