In article <000801c2e103$46d0dd80$6401a8c0@eaves>, Tyler Eaves <tyler@cg1.org> writes >Can something PLEASE be done about this? On a global scale or just this list? Quite a lot is done by many people in both situations. Globally - report it and eventually it'll lose it's appeal. This list - a lot is already stopped, and some people complain they can't always send mail because the spam measures are too strict, but it catches the vast majority of the spam without stopping most people posting. If you just don't want to see it in your inbox look up some of the numerous spam catching tools and install those. If you want recommendations then many of us have our favourites and after a brief holy war you may get a rough idea of what's out there.
