I have successfully installed FreeBSD 4.2 on that machine. When I try boot from disk I just get a "operating system not found message" I can boot from CD, interrupt the boot process, set the current device to the disk and than boot from disk. dmesg shows the following messages: ... mlx0: port 0x2000-0x207f mem 0xfc000000-0xfdffffff,0xfa410000-0xfa41007f irq 15 at device 8.0 on pci3 mlx0: controller initialisation in progress... mlx0: initialisation complete. mlx0: DAC1164PVX, 3 channels, firmware 5.07-0-87, 32MB RAM mlxd0: on mlx0 mlxd0: 8679MB (17774592 sectors) RAID 1 (online) mlxd1: on mlx0 mlxd1: 17299MB (35428352 sectors) RAID 1 (online) ....
