The required driver (ulpt) is part of the default system kernel. In case it's not (for example when running a custom kernel), add this line to /boot/loader.conf: ulpt_load="YES" For details see "man 4 ulpt". If the printer is not recognized with this mechanism, a generic USB device (ugen) will appear.
