In general, what "soundblaster" or compat hw seems to work best period? work best with freebsd? work best with mbone?! (I grabbed the 386bsd/vat and sd from LL and they work. right now I don't have a clue as to how to get vat talking to hw. any hints appreciated. sd works fine.) The vat README file talks about a PAS-16 and a Gravis Ultrasound, whatever those are? Jim Binkley jrb@cs.pdx.edu
