It's got four disks in it, but right now I'm only working with one (ad0), which is a 30GB disk that's been lying about for a bit. I'm getting: DEBUG: Scanning disk ad0 for swap partitions ad0: hard error cmd=3Dread fsbn 0 status=3D51 error=3D04 DEBUG: Signal 11 caught! That's bad! on the debug console just after I hit okay after defining my slices. I'm guessing this is a hardware problem (well, the ``hard error'' gives that away) but does anybody know if this is very serious, or... ? Can I work around it, or is the disk for the bin? Thanks very much, -lewiz. --=20 I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now. --Bob Dylan, 1964. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -| msn:purple@lewiz.net | jab:lewiz@jabber.org | url:http://lewiz.net |- --V0207lvV8h4k8FAm Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE/Y60CItq0KFQv7T8RArBSAJ4g4E/7eJ4IdkGLLuxrcLgXH4SNugCfUBK3 iAt1m563xR3cs8gbu6REvnA= =8+B7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --V0207lvV8h4k8FAm--
