I've installed 5.1-RELEASE, cvsuped (~5 hrs ago) and rebuilt world and kernel with the miibus and xl devices present, but the error persists. ---dmesg_output--- xl0: <3Com 3c556 Fast Etherlink XL> port 0x1400-0x14ff irq 10 at device 11.0 on pci0 xl0: using port I/O xl0: couldn't map ports/memory device_probe_and_attach: xl0 attach returned 6 ---end_dmesg_output-- Google offered some hints that a biossetting could cause this, but there exists no "Plug and Play OS" setting in the bios unfortunately. Using 'hint.acpi.0.disabled="1"' doesnt change anything. Does anyone have any suggestions or got it to work?
