: Sure there is.  portupgrade -uR XFree86.  There's other assorted

This is the first time I've hit these problems then... :-(  The
meta-ports make it worse, I think, but I'll give portupgrade -uR a
spin.  I'll likely need to add -f to that since I've already build and
installed parts of it by hand.
