[Picking one random message to answer] Yes, I am aware that chmod -x would suffice, and I can as well "mv foo.sh foo.sh-". I don't want this to end up as a "how do you disable a service" thread. Besides, a chmod -x would have the same problem, that is, after this patch the script would be run at reboot. I am not opposing this patch, just asking for the reasoning behind it, warning that it may break POLA, and asking for at least an UPDATING entry and/or no MFC. > > -- > Hajimu UMEMOTO @ Internet Mutual Aid Society Yokohama, Japan > ume@mahoroba.org ume@bisd.hitachi.co.jp ume@{,jp.}FreeBSD.org > http://www.imasy.org/~ume/ > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
