Sounds like you intend on playing games. On that part I haven't yet succeeded. Either installation fails, or starting.... or wine succeeds in crashing BSD totally and reboot. Don't know whether this is due to wine or X (4.0.3). And I'm not sure DirectX is fully supported yet.
