The 1024 cylinder rule only applies to old versions of FreeBSd. You don't
have to worry about versions after 4.1. For example, on my dual 866
coppermine system, the root file system on a multiboot system is located
around 8-15GB in on the HD. With LBA turned on, cylinder 1024 is 8.4GB.
