Granted, it has some limitations but it was the only working way of getting a decent partitioning on x86 platfrom until GPT was introduced. Stripping it out from sysinstall wouldn't be benefitable at all. Bsdlabels work great in some situations, e.g. I use them for embedded devices where bios is custom build and can successfully boot from bsdlabel-partitioned disk. --=20 Stanislav Sedov ST4096-RIPE --Signature=_Tue__21_Oct_2008_12_25_44_+0400_VYVKjI.06Nrmie1m Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.9 (FreeBSD) iEYEARECAAYFAkj9kggACgkQK/VZk+smlYHRjgCfYv3HkP2ingKNy76K0eW3B+F5 //sAn3O/f81mYUVrqXL70HEkuwfnT51I =KjqO -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Signature=_Tue__21_Oct_2008_12_25_44_+0400_VYVKjI.06Nrmie1m--
