Hello. A server I manage, running 12.2/amd64, locked on Friday. The logs just end abruptly and an hardware reset was required. So far it seems like a deadlock, but what I find strange is the power light blinking, as if the computer had entered power saving. BIOS is set up to never enter suspension and powerd is not running. I doubt anyone did mess physically with the box and, in any case, power button should shutdown, not suspend. So far I have no idea... I'll try enabling some debugging feature in the kernel, but I had never seen such a behaviour before. Any hint? Any other reason the power light would blink? bye & Thanks av.
