Hello freebsd-questions, I've got a lot of problems installing FreeBSD on a Promise FastTrack100 TX2 RAID controller with 2 IBM ATA100 60GB disks running RAID 0. During installation the configuration tool probes the controller just fine and it lets me partition and mount ar0. Everything looks fine up until now. When the installation starts extracting it suddenly stops. It is not the same place it stops every time I try to install FreeBSD. This last time I tried installing FreeBSD I got this new error: anic: malloc: lost data syncing disk 34 34 34..... ..... giving up Can anyone help me? I've even tried the current version of FreeBSD without any luck! -- Best regards, Kim mailto:kam@mail1.stofanet.dk To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
