Ehm, I hope ye aren't chosing options that delete the Windows slice as that is
which I think you are doing. Look for any existing slices that are labeled as
either DOS or FAT(-32).

Dial out through a modem? Sure, minicom, ppp, and about a dozen others, if not
more... I think a multitude of people on these lists are using modems or
something similar instead of permanent networks...
