I have to use a cross-compiler for Windows that uses a parallel port dongle for copy protection for a class I am currently taking; but, all my machines are running commercial Unix and FreeBSD. When I try to configure VMWare to use the parallel port I get the following error: Can't open /dev/lpt0: No such device or address Device parallel0 will start disconnected Host info: > uname -a FreeBSD tigger 4.5-RC3 FreeBSD 4.5-RC3 #1: Thu Jan 31 11:26:50 EST 2002 root@tigger:/usr/src/sys/compile/FBSD_TIGGER i386 > pkg_info | grep vmware vmware2-2.0.4.1142 Any advice is appreciated.
