Wow.. that IS confusing.. Which way is up?

"The latest release on the 4-STABLE is 5.0- RELEASE.."  is not 
grammatically correct, AND isn't really correct.. Shouldn't it say:
"The latest release on the 4-STABLE branch is 4.7-RELEASE.."

That last part is just all messed up.  Maybe this instead:
"The -CURRENT branch has recently produced 5.0-RELEASE in January 2003, 
which will then become the new 5-STABLE branch.  Future 5.x-RELEASES 
will come from the 5-STABLE branch."
