This is correct for RELENG_5 (ie, about to become 5.4-RELEASE) on Sparc64, and all architectures IIRC. There are too many problematic ATAPI CD/DVD drives out there. Defaulting to ATAPI DMA makes FreeBSD uninstalable on them with knowing the magic invocation. -- -- David (obrien@FreeBSD.org)
