Hi, last week I've updated my system to 11-stable, later almost all of the ports. I'm using mate desktop from the ports and after several problems with Kicad I've changed my graphics card from an Nvidia FX4000 to an Nvidia FX4500 and since the FX4500 has DVI I now have several additional audio devices in the system, but the only used is the external USB Device. Altough sound is basically working I noticed that the Mate Volume control ist not, I could slide it whoever I wanted it, no reaction at all. Because of this I've googeled around and finally found this: https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/58957/ ..unfortunately I'm not registered there, so I couldn't download the patch, ..I've contacted Alexander (netchild@) that finally managed to send me that patch. 10 minutes before I've edited it in by hand (I'm lazy) and reinstalled libmatemixer, works. Could someone here please commit that patch? THX. Please Cc me, I'm not on gnome@... Kind Regards, Holm -- Technik Service u.
