Currently, find -type f on a tree with more than 40,000 files refuses to cache the results, and increasing desiredvnodes and the size of nchashtbl didn't seem to help. (4.0-RELEASE, with maxusers=512). thanks in advance, (should this have gone to -questions instead? wasn't sure..) -- Sitaram Iyer http://www.cs.rice.edu/~ssiyer/ Phone: (off) 713-348-2265 (rice xBANK), (home) 713-799-8980 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hackers" in the body of the message
