Not at all, as long as you follow the instructions, do mergemaster (many people forget to do this), and read UPDATING before you begin. :: PS: I have already tried to find what I need in both the handbook and :: the faq, but to no real end. I've only found instructions for keeping :: up-to-date with a single release track (such as RELEASE, STABLE, or :: CURRENT), and nothing for changing tracks. The available cvs tags are located in Appendix A.7. These are kept pretty well up-to-date.
