I haven't installed it yet, but I'd like to make a comment on RELNOTES. In section 2.2, it says: DEC DC21140 based NICs (SMC???? DE???) and SMC???? should be 'SMC EtherPower', I guess. I'm not sure but it's based on a DEC DC21040 chip. My card (EtherPower) is recognized as: de0 rev 35 int a irq 11 on pci0:6 reg20: virtual=0xf4786c00 physical=0xffbffc00 size=0x80 de0: enabling 10baseT/UTP port de0: DC21040 [10Mb/s] pass 2.3 Ethernet address 00:00:c0:5f:76:0e and works great under 954012 SNAP. # I can hardly wait for 2.0.5R :-) ============================================================================== Motonori Shindou Carnegie Mellon University SCS Graduate Student e-mail: moto@cs.cmu.edu, NiftyServe: GEG04056 WWW: http://www.cs.cmu.edu:8001:/afs/cs.cmu.edu/user/moto/WWW/moto-home.html TEL: 412-362-9636 FAX: 412-362-9634 ==============================================================================
