I have to enable this if I want to use cdrecord or cdrdao, but burncd is for atapi cd-r drives so this doesn't apply here. Dalius: yeah making an iso applies to data cds, but not to audio cds. I think so at least.. So have I missed something? Shouldn't it work without recompiling kernel? Or is enabling scsi emulation the only way to go? thanks, Matej
