We are trying to build the English version of the Handbook, but we are u= nable to do it. It seems that jade hangs in an infinitive loop consuming quite al= l of the CPU resources for over 24 hours on an Athlon 1,4GHz with lots of RAM & = HDD, without any result. The way we are using is: % cvsup doc-supfile % cd doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook % make FORMATS=3Dhtml-split The last message displayed by jade is: /usr/local/bin/jade -V html-manifest -ioutput.html -d /home/ni/tlumaczenie/= doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/../../../share/sgml/default.dsl -ioutpu= t.html.images -i chap.advanced-networking -i chap.basics -i chap.bibliogr= aphy -i chap.config -i chap.boot -i chap.cutting-edge -i chap.disks -i chap= .eresources -i chap.install -i chap.introduction -i chap.kernelconfig -i ch= ap.l10n -i chap.linuxemu -i chap.mail -i chap.mirrors -i chap.multimedia -i= chap.desktop -i chap.pgpkeys -i chap.ppp-and-slip -i chap.printing -i chap= .security -i chap.serialcomms -i chap.users -i chap.vinum -i chap.x11 -i ch= ap.ports -D /usr/obj/home/ni/tlumaczenie/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook= -c /home/ni/tlumaczenie/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/../../../en_US.= ISO8859-1/share/sgml/catalog -c /home/ni/tlumaczenie/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/bo= oks/handbook/../../../share/sgml/catalog -c /usr/local/share/sgml/docbook/= dsssl/modular/catalog -c /usr/local/share/sgml/iso8879/catalog -c /usr/loc= al/share/sgml/docbook/catalog -c /usr/local/share/sgml/jade/catalog -t sg= ml /home/ni/tlumaczenie/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/book.sgml and it lasts infinitively... after pressing Ctrl+C we got: ^C*** index.html removed there are about 200 *.html files in the current directory, but index.html Where is the problem? We are translating the handbook to Polish, but withou= t=20 building the original version, we don't have any hope to build the translat= ed version... The situation repeats on 2 machines as far.
