Mozilla definitely builds (or did when I last updated it), though it gripes when I start it up: LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /usr/local/jdk1.3.1/jre/plugin/i386/ns600/libjavaplugin_oji.so I sure hope Phoenix doesn't require Java - I really need a lightweight browser!
