I'd love to be able to run it on bsd though ;) =20 According to the wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GlusterFS) GlusterFS server has been tested on FreeBSD but the client has only been successfully tested on Linux. I'm not sure why though. I've dropped an email to the GlusterFS Devs asking for more info. Rudi
