So dialing in to the FBSD server from a winbox can be done but you will have to plug the phone line into the FBSD service modem right before you call it. -----Original Message----- From: edkeeshan [mailto:ekeeshan@optonline.net] Sent: Thursday, January 10, 2002 6:49 PM To: 'Joe & Fhe Barbish' Subject: RE: dial in service thanks - I'm trying to build a remote access server which will respond to "dial in" over a pots line.I currently use this line as a phone line and do not want to buy a separate dedicated line . I want to be able to both receive calls and be able to dial in to the network (not at the same time perhaps, but without having to change configurations). I'd like this to work similarly to the way a fax machine will "listening for modem tone" but happily allow voice calls to continue ringing on through to the handset. Thanks for your help ed -----Original Message----- From: Joe & Fhe Barbish [mailto:barbish@a1poweruser.com] Sent: Thursday, January 10, 2002 5:11 PM To: ekeeshan@optonline.net Subject: RE: dial in service After rereading your question I am not sure what you are trying to ask.
